When you order a custom building from Box Metal Buildings, you will receive computer-produced drawings that include an anchor-bolt plan, detailed diagrams of connections, and cross-section diagrams for every part of the building. Our industrial metal buildings are delivered to your worksite. All the necessary hardware, excluding anchor bolts, is supplied.

This is why having a structure that is set up in a way to allow movement and flexibility is so important. Being able to move departments, office personnel, or warehouse employees allows the business to adapt to market conditions and produce products with high demand.

1. Movement
Product movement whether by conveyors, forklifts, cranes, or other means is critical to production flow. Make sure you have more than enough space. We have never had a customer complain about too much space.
2. Flexibility
Machinery and production lines can change for various reasons. Being able to repurpose a section for a whole different use allows for quick change.
Add-On - You can either enhance your current building or add on to it. If you choose to Add-On to an existing structure, our transition experts will make sure the addition to your old structure is watertight using proven installation practices.
Refresh - If your current building looks out-of-date, or internal goods flow has changed, an update may be what you need. The addition of liner panels, partition walls, insulated panel rooms and modular offices can change the way the interior looks and performs for your needs. For the exterior, the look of new colored wall panels, a wainscot, or new trim coloring will bring your old building up-to-date.
Existing Leaks - As for the roof, leaks (although sometimes hard to track) are usually the result of either the roof screws neoprene washer breaking down due to UV and weather exposure, or a roof penetration that was either not installed correctly or has sealants that no longer do the job. Correct your current building with new roof panel and screws.
High Humidity - Some manufacturing, Grow Buildings and Breweries need separation if existing structure contains traditional insulation. Foam board performs better in situations where humidity is over 50%. Contact our experts for more information on high humidity requirements with insulation.
3. Ergonomic
Keeping employees from stepping over themselves and keeping them safe are a top priority. Movements kept to a minimum ensure production schedules are met and employees have the ability to do their work efficiently and safely. Consider Safety and regulation spaces when laying out the production line for employees. Offices for customers, warehouse for goods, retail space, docks or overhead doors for deliveries. Options also exist for Galvanization, Corrosive & explosive applications.
4. Scaling
Needing to scale up using the same location solves problems adding another location may pose. Having room to expand for future needs keeps the office personnel intact while adding new production lines. Expandable endwalls, Future cranes, Future mezzanine (second floor), Future Lean-tos can all be designed on the front end so that in the future when these are needed, the loading is already present and can be implemented quickly.
